Publishers we all know the problems with works submitted – you may be a specialist publisher in one field and authors submit works from a totally unrelated field.
How do you find the time to sift through all of the work that is submitted?
Like literary agents how do you reduce your slush pile and not miss an opportunity?
Send us the slush pile we will contact the author and record that you have made the submission.
If the author lists with us and sell an agreed minimum that you set [example 100 books in a month] we will contact you to offer to negotiate publishing rights.
Note if the same item is submitted from another source we will contact all sources that have submitted the author/work.
